The Southern Milky Way


The southern Milky Way is dominant during the summer months as we are looking toward the center of our galaxy at nighttime.
Jupiter is visible at the lower left. Saturn is the next brightest object to the left.

Taken from my driveway in southeastern Minnesota on 8/15/2020.
