DWB111 - "Propeller Nebula" in Cygnus

Camera: Canon XS (Hutech modified); Raw capture; ISO 1600
Mount: Losmandy G-11
Guiding: SSAG on 400mm scope
Exposures:

Ha: 22 @ 5 min. with Astronomik 6nm filter
Color: 26 @ 5 min.

Processing:

Camera was focused using Live View. Raw images were converted using Canon's Zoom Browser EX. Converted images were calibrated, aligned and combined with ImagesPlus. The Ha and color images were aligned with RegiStar and the final product was adjusted in Photoshop. Finally,Topaz DeNoise 4 was used to reduce noise.

My backyard observatory in southeastern Minnesota on 7/14/10 and 7/19/10.
Note: Seeing was average; transparency was good; humidity was high. Temperature: 65 F
