The Constellations of Orion and Taurus

 

The constellation of Orion, the Hunter, dominates the sky during the winter months. Taurus, the Bull, is visible at the upper right. Mars is prominent just above Taurus' primary star, Aldebaran. Canis Major, which includes the brightest star visible (Sirius) is also partially visible.
