The Central Milky Way

The Milky Way dominates the evening sky during the summer months. This is because we are looking toward the center of our galaxy at those times.
Three bright stars contitute the "Summmer Triangle." These are Vega (near the top center of the frame), Deneb (at the left center), and Altair (lower right).
